Japan's auction houses (USS, CAA, TAA and others) inspect every car before it goes under the hammer. An assessor records the overall grade, the interior and exterior condition, every scratch and dent on a body diagram, and the exact mileage.

We buy from those sheets, and we publish them on every listing. You can read the inspector's remarks and see the diagram before you visit.

If it isn't in stock, we can find it. Around 150,000 cars go through Japanese auctions every week, so most models, colours and specifications are available within a few weeks.

You give us the brief and a maximum budget; we send you the auction sheets and photos of candidates, and bid only when you say yes. Typical time from winning bid to collection in Wolverhampton is 8 to 12 weeks.

Importing a car yourself means paperwork with the shipping line, HMRC (NOVA), the DVLA and often the DVSA. We do all of it as standard.

Cars are shipped RoRo from Japan to the UK, cleared through customs, converted where required (headlamps, speedometer in mph, rear fog light), put through an MOT and registered with a UK plate before handover.

Alongside our retail stock we import salvage and repairable cars for trade buyers, enthusiasts and exporters. Each one is listed with its damage description, category and auction grade so you know exactly what you're buying.

Bring your current car for a valuation, or send us photos and the registration number for an estimate. We can also introduce you to independent finance brokers; Jasmine Auto Ltd is a credit broker, not a lender, and finance is subject to status.

Delivery is by covered or open transporter to any mainland UK address, usually within a week of payment clearing. Collection from our Wolverhampton office is free and we can meet you at Wolverhampton railway station.
